i am pretty useless with computers

STICKER BRIEF

I was pretty daunted by this brief because I struggled in the Illustrator workshops. I found it difficult designing because I wasn't sure what I'd be able to create digitally. Granted it took me the entire day to design my sticker and I ate a whole pack of corn cakes in the process, I'm pretty pleased with how my sticker eventually turned out.

Pete is eventually born

I loved screenprinting during Foundation so was excited to get back into it. The induction was really useful because at Foundation we didn't learn how to prepare or strip screens, they were made up for us by technicians. So it was beneficial to learn the process from start to finish and become comfortable with the equipment.

- I definitely need to practice and improve my digital skills so briefs like this don't daunt me. It will also advance my practice and increase the opportunities my work has.
- experimenting with colour in the screenprints was really fun, exciting to see how they would each turn out and how they would get increasingly murky. Would like to try this technique again, it could be interesting to use to create some backgrounds with which to work on top of?
