some of the illustrators and artists I've been looking at as visual inspiration for how I want to illustrate my book.
I want to use a delicate, quiet visual language, so my book appears calm and reflective to give justice to the subject matter I'm tackling. This is a bit of a challenge for me because in my personal work especially I've been doing lots of daft playful bright work using gouache and cut paper, but with this brief I want to try and cut down my media and create focused and concentrated pieces.
