Tutorial with Matt 17.01.2020

Really good tutorial. Talked about possibly writing my own folklore tales to respond to rather than responding to an existing one which would be really fun. Never really responded to my own content before ? In playbook I started a tiny project of using magazine cut out words to form silly short sentences and then quickly responding to that with a drawing. So this feels like an extended version of that??
There's so many tropes in folklore too and the idea that they are used to explain the world means I have a vague structure with which to form stories which makes it seem more manageable?

Matt showed me Boss Morris which his friend is part of. Talking an existing thing and turning it on its head almost - making traditions modern

Talked about the tangibility of things - the size and quality of the matchbox labels - could I make things a similar size and leave them around? Could I do this with stories? Get people to finish them off? Like folklore tale Chinese whispers.

Carson Ellis is someone I'm really into at the moment - no idea she'd designed a board game, going to order asap.

What links the page of interests I wrote at the front of my sketchbook? Who does my work exist for? What am I trying to say? big scary q's.
