Henrik Drescher !!

Ben showed me Henrik Drescher's website to show me how he creates these beautiful 'rough' books before his final ones where you can see all of the different elements he pulls from his sketchbooks to create a final collection of images. Love love love.
I was a bit stuck trying to plan out every page as its own individual identity, but now I realise I can take the way I work within my own personal sketchbooks and apply it to this brief by creating an almost 'scrapbook' like publication by pulling elements from my prints and combining them to create a final product.  Amy talked to me about how the a4 straight edged limitations of Studio Brief 1 potentially hindered me and so by taking this approach to my book I think I'm going to feel a lot more comfortable and motivated in creating this publication. Viewing it this way has made the whole thing seem less daunting and i'm excited ! (will definitely need to make some dummy books before the final thing) Cheers Henrik
